| Archive Description | Oral History - Walter August Brinkman, Jr.
Walter Brinkman was born in Houston Texas on February 2, 1948. As the youngest of three children, he
was raised on his parent�s egg farm called the Brinkman Egg Farm located in Missouri City, Texas. His
father was active in the community while his mother stayed at home. Walter played football and
baseball in junior and high school. He went to Baylor University where he met his wife Sharon. They
married in Waco in 1972. Walter talks about his childhood growing up in the country, fishing with his
dad, playing sports and helping with the chores at the farm. |
